Meet the Rickabaughs!! I met the mother and these sweet girls during my VERY FIRST spring sessions in Fort Mill, South Carolina! Oh my how much they’ve grown and so has my art! Now that you know a little about how we met, let’s dive into how this session was plan, and how much fun we had in the gardens of Winghaven.
This mom booked her family session in winter of 2017, and we could not have dreamed of a more perfect spring day in April. I mean, it was absolutely perfect! Like most times I love to start with the shy sibling first. However, she wasn’t shy for long, and by the end of the session, I became Auntie Crystal. Oh and let me tell you about the little one, with the bright blue eyes. I found out she was born on the same day and at the same exact hospital I had my son. When her mother and I realized this we both said “something was in the water that day at the hospital”, because let me tell you, they are our wild ones. hahaha!
After twirling and smelling the garden flowers, the family changed for the other half of their family session, and so did the location. We ended our session in Midtown Park, that gives us a view of the Charlotte North Carolina skyline.
I had so much fun capturing the bond of sisterhood, and the joys and laughter of family. That is my goal at every family session. I love to see happy families.
